Auction Rooms is an institution. An established purveyor of specialty coffee, housed in the old WB Ellis auction house in North Melbourne.

With exacting standards of quality, the cafe offers excellent food, superior coffee, perfect service, all in a beautiful space. It all comes together to form one of the best cafe experiences in Melbourne.

Counter is their adjacent takeaway food specialty coffee offering positioned directly across the road from Auction Rooms. Counter serves fast-paced, high-quality eats to customers who want the quality they expect from Auction Rooms without the full experience. We crafted two brands that work together and communicate their relationship with each other, yet still maintain very separate identities.

Printing five Manicules (pointed fingers) on our Asbern Proof Press for Counter, and the backs of those blocks for Auction Rooms created a linked identity, rolled out across expressive price cards, business cards, menus and signage.
